Only beef and pork would require two days for digestion. Many foods pass through within 24 hours, however some do so sooner. varies greatly depending on the nutritional value of the food.

I apologize; I was a little lazy. I used to believe that food was absorbed into the body in the sequence it was consumed. Therefore, if you were to eat a steak now and then some beans later, the steak would support the beans (yes, I know that sounds ridiculous! :P).

If you just got up and haven’t eaten in about 12 hours, your digestive system is probably going to be in tip-top shape even if we are only talking about 170 calories, so it may take anything between 45 minutes and around 5 hours.
