How To Make Sinigang Na Tilapia?

Vegetable oil, two tablespoons

TILAPIA SINIGANG NA (Tilapia fish sour soup)

Tilapia fish, tamarind (or any other sour fruit component like kamias, santol, etc.), pepper, and vegetables are the main ingredients in Sinigang na Tilapia, also known as Tilapia sour soup. Any type of fish, including salmon, bangus, dalagang bukid, etc., may be the fish.

Procedure and recipe recommendations:

1. Boil water in a casserole, then add tomato, onion, and ginger. For 10 to 15 minutes, simmer. To release the color and sourness, mash the tomato against the side of the saucepan.

2. Add the fish sauce, tilapia, eggplant, gabi, pechay, and jalapeño. Simmer for an additional 8 to 10 minutes.

3. Add salt to taste and the tamarind soup base mixture. In order to avoid overcooking the vegetables, remove from heat.

4. Transfer in a bowl and serve hot with rice.

Note:

To add taste and nutrients, you can also include yard long beans (sitaw), okra, water spinach (kangkong leaves), kamote leaves, spinach, or birds’ eye chile (talbos ng sili).
